Renovations....

Over the last few weeks we have been going through some renovations that were badly needed. For the most part things are going pretty smoothly, but I have 2 wonderful dogs that I love dearly except when they are barking like crazy. Riley is our Irish Wolfhound mix and the other is Lilah a Great Pyrenees mix.
Unfortunately they both are very bad barkers and we've tried everything to control it with no success. I will say though because of Lilah's breed she is a barker and it takes her a bit to get used to people, but in this case she doesn't want the contractors around. Riley on the other hand would get used to them. So the only way we could get some relief from the barking was to bring them upstairs in my office and close the door. It was a bit much, but we worked it out.
They look sweet here and really they are. I love them to pieces.
Anyway I was hoping the renovations would be done by now, but they are still working. At this point I'm starting to get a little frustrated and stressed. Once the contractors are done, I still have a lot of painting to do and a floor to lay. Once that is all done, which I hope will be before the end of September then I can start cleaning up the gardens and getting them ready for bed for the season.
The first week of October I will be attending the Vintage New England Bazaar and finish up my annual 2 week vacation. Then I will be ready to start my photographic projects. It's been tough trying to focus on my projects for any amount of time. So instead of getting frustrated and wasting a lot of time I chosen to wait until I got all my renovations and garden work are done.
