Masquerade Invitation Part 2
Updated: Dec 28, 2019
Welcome back! Here are the last few steps to the completion of the Masquerade Invitation Collage.

In step 7 I slightly torn the edges of the photographs and touched them up with some pan pastels to give them that aged look. I then glued down the metal lace pieces which were a bit tough since they didn't want to lay flat and I also glued the skull and cross bones. Once those were all dried which I left over night I add a tiny skeleton key in the center of the metal lace. I also added 3 small rose lace pieces at the ends of the metal lace to give it a more finished look. Waited for all that to dry and added another layer of paint to help accent the stenciling and some of the other pieces.

The second to the last step was to add a glaze which would give the entire collage that vintage appearance that I was aiming for .
Now the only thing left to do is add a matte or satin polyacrylic which will preserve the collage.

I really love the way this turned out! It looks much better in person though.
