Eruption!

This is one of my first fluid art paintings. I was trying out a tree ring pour using metallic gold, red and black. I love the way this painting turned out. It looks almost 3 dimensional. It looks better in person!
One of my many challenges in photographing these fluid art paintings is getting the true motion of the painting as well as the colors. Sometimes it's quite difficult, but if you like the fluid art painting here then you'll love it in person!
I've chosen to call this one "Eruption", because it's the erupted from a tree ring pour to a lava flow!
