Columbine

Every spring I look forward to seeing my Columbine. In my garden they bloom just after the bleeding hearts are nearly done for the season. I also grow white and purple columbines too. I've seen mini columbines that are double bloom which I hope to add to the gardens in the spring.

I used a dark texture on this columbine to highlight the rich colors of the rustic red and yellows and dramatic lighting and finished off with a painterly quality.
