Busy As A Bee I Am
Crazy busy I've I been! The last few months I've been waiting to hear about a renovation loan so we can make some big changes to our house. We got the loan and have already started the process of getting a contractor, estimates, and ordering the materials we need.
Our kitchen is getting the most work needing new cabinets, counter and flooring along with 2 new windows. Both bathrooms are getting partial renovations, living room a new window and a new laundry room. No more trips to the basement! Yeah!! We are also getting a front porch added (just a small one) and we also had heat pumps installed. So now we will have electric heat in the winter (no more oil and the high cost that comes with it) and cool summers on those hot humid days. Which are few a far between here in Maine, although the upstairs gets pretty warm on those hot days cause of the metal roof. We've been told that the official renovation will start in late July early August. We have 2 dogs who love to bark a lot and we think that this might be a wee bit of a problem. So maybe a couple of days a week they will go to doggie daycare. Sounds like a good idea to me! It's going to be loud enough with out them.
And if all that isn't enough I've also been busy getting my gardens cleaned up and I've been working on my new website and creating a whole new collection of photography and products!
Like I said I'm as busy as a bee!!!!
