Alstroemeria

How many different ways can one photograph alstroemeria? As you may have seen I photograph these beauties quite often. For many reasons...one they are beautiful, two they come in a variety of colors, three they fill a space beautifully and four they are readily available.
So the trick is in the props. Which can be a challenge, but a fun one. I look at it like this. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers to photograph, because they are just a cheery, happy flower, but I have photographed them so much that they all start to look the same, so the challenge is to photograph or process them differently than the others. The same holds true for my alstroemeria. Naming them is even tougher. The one is simply called "White Alstroemeria".
