A Year Of Change

As teenagers we sometimes feel time is going so slow and we wanted to hurry up a grow up. Now as adults time is moving far too fast and we would love for it to slow down a bit.
As I continue to grow as an artist I find that time is just passing by so fast.
The beginning of this year I took many online classes about running a creative business and how to use social media to get me out there. I also took some workshops that changed who I am as an artist forever! I finally found who I am as an artist and dang it's the best feeling ever! Just wish I discovered it 10 years ago. But hey that's not going to stop me!
Once I was sure of my discovery I set out to get it done! New images, new website, creating email list, blog and I even created a business plan for the next 5 years. It's a basic plan and one that allows me to follow my yearly progress.
So here it is November and the new website is up and running. I have a basic social media plan, been blogging twice a week and being very consistent, which is key. Still have a lot to learn, but I'm heading in the right direction. Soon I will be adding videos and a store front right on this website to purchase my fluid art paintings.
Ideas are flowing and things are changing almost everyday.
And to top it all off I also had home renovations done and completed.
What a year!
Probably should have saved this post for the end of the year, but things are changing so fast why wait!
